What do you get when you mix…
* a purple cake with pink and yellow trim (chocolate and vanilla inside) with a bird nest and jellybean eggs and a bird, feathers and all on top–every bit designed by her.
* a waffle breakfast, sprinkles and all
* opening multiple bird themed presents–and most before 7:30 am!
* a treasure hunt for a Razor scooter (that’s been on her wish list for 6+ months)
*lots of birthday wishes from family and friends–thanks for the phone calls, voicemails, emails, and drop by’s!
*a day of bird crafts, a favorite video, and supper at McDonalds with a playland (her choice, NOT ours!!)…
you get…a very excited, very happy SIX year old!!
Happy Birthday, Emma Grace! Hard to believe that our dear firstborn is now six, entering kindergarten. She’s such a wonderful part of our family–a leader, a thinker, creative, sensitive, kind hearted, and funny too. Learning what it means to love God and love others too. What a gal…I’m so thankful that it is she who is helping me understand what it means to be a mom–I’m learning as she grows…

SIX! Wow – Happy Birthday again Emma! We love you!
So glad to finally see these pics after my 9 day New England internet lapse! Emma indeed looks like a very happy 6 year old! One more time: Happy Birthday, Emma! Love you!
